Nationally Recongnised Training

Would you like to be upskilled in your current profession and receive government assistance to do so?

The government recognises the skill shortage in all industries and offers employers a cash based incentive to upskill their staff to receive formal nationally recognised qualifications. See our eligibility checklist.

At Face to Face Training Services we provide a number of qualifications.

How does it work?

It works the way that best suits your business needs. Training can be on-the-job (one-on-one or in group sessions), by correspondence or RPL may be obtained. We come to your workplace at the time best suited to you and your employer.

On-the-job

This delivery mode will include a combination of one-on-one trainer led theory sessions, self-paced practical activities and group sessions to reinforce your learning. You will be allocated a certain amount of time in between trainer visits to complete each of the practical activities. This time will depend on your ability and your employer's needs and workplace influences and will be scheduled prior to the commencement of training delivery. Anticipated assessment dates will also be scheduled prior to the commencement of training, but will remain flexible according to your progress.

Assessment only (or Recognition of Prior Learning - RPL)

If you consider that you are already competent in one or more of the units of competency in this qualification you have the right to have that competence recognised without participating in a learning process. This pathway requires you to demonstrate current competence or provide evidence of prior learning (including in-house training).

It is a lot of work?

You are assessed on a competency basis. That is, there is no pass or fail.

There are no formal assignments as such and a lot of the work can be based on your workplace projects and everyday activities. Assessments can be given in a variety of forms - it comes down to your personal circumstances.

There are various rules around which units must be completed to gain competency for each course and it is best to choose the units in conjunction with the employer, employee and trainer.
